Life Update

When I was a kid my mom always told me that the older I get the faster time will fly. Well she is completely correct. 2016 is almost over and it has went so fast. I have been reflecting back on this year and it is hard to believe how much has changed in my life. This year was full of mile stones and while so much has happened this year I know next year will be just as exciting if not more.

I started out the year by turning 21. My birthday is January 10th so my birthday is what I get to look forward to after new years. I celebrated with my boyfriend. He planned the whole day with fun activities. We went to sky max, then later that night we went out for dinner and drinks.

Then in March I started my blog and I can honestly say it was a great idea. I haven’t been creating as much content as I would have liked but I decided I needed to do more research about blogging so I can make it better for you guys. I just want to say a quick thank you to everyone for supporting me and it truly means a lot to know that my hard work is helping others. You are truly the reason I blog and I have been working hard behind the scenes to make my blog better for you. So now that I am at a good point in my research I have a very exciting announcement to make about my blog that will be coming in the next couple weeks. In May my spring semester of my junior year came to an end and I celebrated by taking a week long trip to New York City. It was a good trip but I was happy to be home and back in the swing of things after a week.

I then spent my summer ‘break’ by getting ahead in school and taking classes, working at the pool, and working on my blog. I ended summer by taking another vacation. I went on a cruise to the Caribbean. It was the best vacation I have ever taken. Not only was the destination amazing but the people I went with made the trip even better. There was a group of ten of us who went and it was a blast the entire week.

Sadly the vacation came to an end all to quickly and school started once again in August, but this time I was excited to start the semester. This is my last semester in school and I will be graduating December 17th with my Bachelors of Science and Technology degree. My major is Organizational Supervision and while I was in a tough situation when I chose this degree I am glad I pursued it. Not only was this semester great because it was the last but I took some very interesting classes as well. My two favorite classes this semester were Ceramics: Introduction to throwing and Principals of Social media.

In September I decided to make a major life change and quit my job and start working for my family business. I am now working as their social media marketer when I am not busy with  school and will continue to work their after I graduate.

I also made my first adult purchase in October and bought myself a car. I got a 2016 Nissan Rogue. I was planning on buying a car after graduation but when my other car started to have transmission problems I had to expedite my purchase date.

Now it is December and I am finishing my last week of classes. This semester has went so fast. Graduating college is a bitter sweet moment. I am so excited to graduate but at the same time I am nervous because it means a new chapter of my life is starting. I have so many plans for after graduation that I cannot wait to share with all of you.
